About the Calibrated Sculk Sensor

The Calibrated Sculk Sensor is a tuneable version of the Sculk Sensor. It still detects vibrations like footsteps, block placements, and explosions, but you can narrow it down to a single frequency. Send a redstone signal into the block, and the signal strength chooses which of the fifteen vibration types it listens for. When the right sound happens within range, the sensor gives off its own redstone pulse.

Detects vibrations up to 16 blocks away, twice the range of a normal Sculk Sensor.
Works well in compact wireless redstone builds.

How to get the Calibrated Sculk Sensor

You get a Calibrated Sculk Sensor by crafting one. You need a regular Sculk Sensor from the deep dark or an ancient city, plus three Amethyst Shards from amethyst geodes. Combine them in a crafting table and you get the calibrated version. It does not generate naturally or appear in chest loot, so this is the only way to obtain one.
