About the Conduit
The Conduit is an underwater beacon that gives nearby players Conduit Power when you build a proper frame around it. While the effect is active, you can breathe underwater, see more clearly, and mine faster while submerged. A fully built conduit also damages hostile mobs that get close in the water.
Key facts:
- Needs a ring of 16 to 42 prismarine or sea lantern blocks around it to activate.
- Conduit Power range grows with the frame, up to 96 blocks at full size.
- You must be in water or rain to receive the effect.
How to get the Conduit
You can only get a Conduit by crafting it. The recipe uses a heart of the sea in the centre, surrounded by eight nautilus shells. Heart of the sea comes from buried treasure chests, while nautilus shells are dropped by drowned, can be fished up, or bought from wandering traders. The Conduit itself is not found naturally in the world.
