About the Creaking Heart
The Creaking Heart is a living block from the Pale Garden. It is not just a decoration: place it between two Pale Oak logs at night and it can awaken, spawning a hostile Creaking nearby.
That Creaking is an odd enemy. It freezes while you look directly at it, only moves when you look away, and cannot be hurt by normal attacks. To stop it, you need to break the Creaking Heart that controls it.
How to get the Creaking Heart
There is no crafting recipe for a Creaking Heart. You find one naturally inside Pale Oak trees in the Pale Garden. Use a Silk Touch tool if you want to keep the block itself. Without Silk Touch, breaking it gives Resin Clumps instead, so bring the right enchanted tool if you plan to move one.
