- Crimson Button can be crafted directly in your inventory or in a crafting table.
About the Crimson Button
The Crimson Button is a wooden button made from crimson planks. Place it on a full face of a block, then right-click (or press use) it to send a short redstone pulse. It is useful for doors, lamps, and other redstone devices where you want a manual switch.
Because it is built from Nether wood, this button does not burn. That makes it a safer pick than ordinary wooden buttons near fire or lava. Wooden buttons like this also stay pressed a little longer than stone buttons, which can be handy when timing matters.
How to get the Crimson Button
You craft a Crimson Button from a single Crimson Plank. Place one crimson plank in a crafting grid and you get one button. There is no other usual source, so you will need to harvest crimson stems in the Nether and convert them into planks first.
