About Crimson Fence

Crimson Fence is a wooden barrier block made from crimson wood, the red fungus-like wood found in the Nether. Like other fences, it stands 1.5 blocks tall, so most mobs and players cannot jump straight over it. It also connects neatly with nearby fences and solid blocks.

A key difference from oak or spruce fences is that crimson wood does not burn. You can build with it near lava and open flames without it catching fire. It works well for animal pens, garden edges, walkways, and Nether-themed builds.

How to get Crimson Fence

You get Crimson Fences mainly by crafting. Place 4 crimson planks and 2 sticks in a crafting table to make 3 fences at a time. The planks come from crimson stems, which you can chop from the large crimson fungi that grow in crimson forest biomes.

You can also find them in some bastion remnant structures in the Nether, but crafting is the more reliable route in survival.
