About Crimson Slab
The Crimson Slab is a half-height building block made from crimson planks. It shares the dark purple-red look of other crimson wood blocks, which makes it useful for roofs, floors, and smaller decorative details.
Like other slabs, it can be placed in the top or bottom half of a block space. Two slabs placed in the same space join into a full block. Because it comes from Nether wood, it does not catch fire, so you can use it safely near lava or flames.
How to get Crimson Slab
You get Crimson Slabs by crafting them. Place three crimson planks in a horizontal row in the crafting grid to make six slabs. Crimson planks come from crimson stems, which you collect from the large crimson fungi in the Nether's crimson forest biome. Crafting is the main way to obtain them.
