  • This is a shaped recipe, meaning the items must be placed in this specific arrangement on the grid.
  • Cut Copper Slab requires a crafting table to craft.

About the Cut Copper Slab

The Cut Copper Slab is a half-height building block made from cut copper. Like other slabs, it can sit in the lower or upper half of a block space, which gives you extra control over floors, roofs, and trim.

It oxidises over time, moving from shiny orange to green. You can wax it with honeycomb to lock its current stage, or scrape oxidation back off with an axe. It is a purely decorative block, so it does not emit light or react to redstone.

How to get the Cut Copper Slab

You can craft six Cut Copper Slabs by placing three Cut Copper blocks in a row in a crafting table. A stonecutter is more efficient if you already have cut copper, converting one block into two slabs.

They also generate naturally in Trial Chambers, where you can mine them with a pickaxe.
