About Dark Oak Door

The Dark Oak Door is a two-block-tall wooden door with the dark, rich colour of dark oak planks. You can open and close it by right-clicking, and it also responds to redstone. A redstone pulse toggles the door between open and closed, which makes it useful for simple gates and automated entrances.

Like other wooden doors, it blocks mobs while closed. On Hard difficulty, zombies can break wooden doors down, so it is not completely safe as a base defence.
