About Fermented Spider Eye
Fermented Spider Eye is a brewing ingredient, not a snack. Despite its name, you cannot eat it. Its job is to alter other potions or create weakness potions.
When brewed into a water bottle, it makes a Potion of Weakness. When added to certain existing potions, it corrupts their effect: speed becomes slowness, night vision becomes invisibility, and healing or poison becomes harming. Use it in a brewing stand as you would any other potion ingredient.
How to get Fermented Spider Eye
You can only get Fermented Spider Eye by crafting. The recipe is shapeless: one spider eye, one brown mushroom, and one sugar. Spider eyes drop from spiders and cave spiders, brown mushrooms grow in dark, humid places and mushroom fields, and sugar comes from sugar cane.
There is no chest loot or villager trade for this item, so crafting is the only route.
