About Green Wool

Green Wool is a decorative building block with a solid green colour. It is most often used for lawns, bushes, team colours, and pixel art, but it works like any other wool block.

Like all wool, it is soft and flammable. It also has a few useful quirks:

Place it under a note block to get a guitar sound.
Use it to craft green beds, green carpets, and green banners.
Wool blocks can block sculk sensor vibrations when placed between the sensor and the sound source.

How to get Green Wool

You can craft Green Wool by combining one white wool with one green dye anywhere in the crafting grid. Green dye is renewable, since smelting cactus in a furnace gives you one green dye.

The other main method is to dye a sheep green, then shear it. The sheep will regrow green wool after eating grass, so this is a good renewable source. You will not normally find green wool as a block in generated structures.
