About Nether Bricks
Nether Bricks is a dark red building block with a brick pattern, often used for fortress-style builds. It is solid and non-flammable, so it can sit next to fire or lava without burning. This makes it a popular choice in the Nether or anywhere you want a tough, moody look.
You can craft it into a whole family of blocks: stairs, slabs, walls, fences, and chiseled nether bricks. It has no special redstone or opening behaviour, it is purely a construction block. You need a pickaxe to break it.
How to get Nether Bricks
You can craft Nether Bricks from four Nether Brick items arranged in a 2x2 square. Nether Brick items come from smelting netherrack in a furnace. You can also find the block naturally in Nether fortresses, where it makes up much of the structure. Mine it with any pickaxe to collect it. Because netherrack is everywhere in the Nether, smelting your own is usually easy once you have fuel and access to the dimension.
