About Waxed Copper Door

The Waxed Copper Door is a weatherproof version of the Copper Door. It stays locked at whatever oxidation colour it had when waxed, so it will never turn green. Like a regular Copper Door, it acts like an iron door. You cannot just right-click it open; it needs a redstone pulse from a button, lever, or pressure plate.

Waxing is useful for keeping a neat orange or lightly weathered look without maintenance. If you want it to age again, an axe can scrape the wax off.

How to get Waxed Copper Door

You get one by waxing a normal Copper Door. Craft the Copper Door from six copper ingots, then combine that door with honeycomb in a crafting grid. You can also use honeycomb directly on a placed Copper Door. The wax locks in the current oxidation stage, so decide how weathered you want it before waxing.
