About Waxed Oxidized Copper Chain
Waxed Oxidized Copper Chain is a chain block with a fully aged, green copper patina. It behaves like a regular chain: you can place it vertically or horizontally, connect runs of it between blocks, and waterlog it. Builders use it for hanging lanterns, industrial details, and giving builds an old, weathered look.
Because it is waxed, the block is locked at the oxidized stage. It will not weather further or change back to an earlier copper colour.
How to get Waxed Oxidized Copper Chain
Get this block by right-clicking an Oxidized Copper Chain with honeycomb. The honeycomb seals in the green oxidized state and produces the waxed version. If your Copper Chain has not fully oxidised yet, leave it exposed until it turns fully green, then wax it. You do not need a crafting table for this step, just the chain and a honeycomb.
