Anvil crafting recipe
Produces 1× Anvil.

- This is a shaped recipe, meaning the items must be placed in this specific arrangement on the grid.
- Anvil requires a crafting table to craft.
About the Anvil
The Anvil is a work station for repairing and renaming your gear. Right-click it to open its interface, where you can spend experience levels to:
- Repair tools and armour with their repair material, or by combining two damaged copies.
- Rename any item.
- Combine two enchanted items into one with stronger enchantments.
Anvils are affected by gravity and will fall if unsupported, hurting anything underneath. They also wear out with use, passing through chipped and damaged states before finally breaking.
How to get the Anvil
You can craft an Anvil from 3 blocks of iron across the top and 4 iron ingots arranged below them, making it fairly iron-heavy. You can also occasionally find one in an anvil room inside a woodland mansion.
