About Bucket
A bucket is a container for moving liquids and some creatures. Use an empty bucket on a water source or lava source to fill it, then use the full bucket on a block to place that liquid back down. You can also milk a cow or goat, and a water bucket can pick up a fish, axolotl, or tadpole.
Milk buckets clear status effects when you drink them. Empty buckets stack up to 16, but filled buckets take up their own inventory slot.
How to get Bucket
You get a bucket by crafting it. Put three iron ingots in a V shape in the crafting grid, and you will get one empty bucket. The ingots come from smelting iron ore or deepslate iron ore, so a furnace and a pickaxe are the main requirements. Crafting is the reliable way to stock up on buckets.
