About Glow Item Frame

The Glow Item Frame is a special item frame that makes whatever you put inside it glow, so the item stays fully visible even in a completely dark room. It does not actually light up the area around it, only the displayed item itself.

You use it like a normal item frame. Place it on a wall, floor, or ceiling, right-click with an item to display it, and right-click an empty frame to rotate the item inside. It is handy for marking storage rooms, map walls, or chests in dark builds.

How to get Glow Item Frame

You get Glow Item Frames only by crafting. Combine one item frame with one glow ink sac. Item frames are made from eight sticks and one leather, and glow ink sacs drop from glow squids found in dark water. That makes glow squids the main extra step before you can make these frames.
