About Light Blue Carpet

Light Blue Carpet is a thin, decorative block for floors and other flat surfaces. It sits close to the ground, so you can walk over it without jumping, and it breaks instantly by hand when you want to pick it back up.

Players use carpet mainly for decoration. It is good for marking paths, adding a soft blue accent to a room, or building simple pixel-style floor patterns. The carpet does not give off any light itself.

How to get Light Blue Carpet

You get Light Blue Carpet by crafting it. Place two Light Blue Wool side by side in the crafting grid to make three carpets. That makes it an inexpensive way to cover a small area once you have the wool.

To get the wool, dye normal wool with Light Blue Dye, or shear a sheep that has been dyed light blue. Light Blue Dye can be made from a Blue Orchid or by combining blue and white dye.
