About Oak Wood
Oak Wood is the all-bark version of an oak log. Every face shows the same dark, ridged bark texture, so there are no pale cut ends to break up a build. It is mainly a decorative block, but it keeps the same uses as oak logs in most recipes. You can turn it into oak planks, strip it with an axe to get stripped oak wood, or burn it as furnace fuel. Like other wooden blocks, it is flammable.
How to get Oak Wood
You craft Oak Wood from four Oak Logs. Put them in a 2x2 square in the crafting grid, and you get three Oak Wood blocks. Oak trees drop Oak Logs instead of this block, so crafting is the normal way to obtain it.
