About Pale Oak Pressure Plate

The Pale Oak Pressure Plate is a thin wooden block that sends a redstone signal when something stands on it. Unlike stone pressure plates, it reacts to every entity, not just players and mobs. Items, arrows, and even a fishing bobber will trigger it, which makes it useful for item detectors and simple automation.

When pressed, it gives off a full redstone signal of 15, and it drops back to 0 when nothing is on it. You can place it on the ground or on top of most solid blocks, and it connects to redstone dust, doors, lamps, and other nearby components.
