About Sandstone
Sandstone is a warm, sandy-colored building block that fits desert builds and any build where you want a soft, natural stone look. It is a solid block, not interactive, and it requires a pickaxe to mine. Without one, it drops nothing.
It comes in a few useful forms: plain sandstone, cut sandstone, smooth sandstone, and chiseled sandstone, each with slightly different textures. You can use it for walls, floors, paths, or decorative trim.
How to get Sandstone
You can craft sandstone from four sand in a 2x2 crafting grid, which gives one block. You can also find it naturally in desert biomes, where it generates under layers of sand, in desert temples, desert wells, and desert village houses. Break it with a pickaxe to collect it.
