About the Shulker Box
The Shulker Box is a portable storage block. It works like a chest with 27 slots, but when you break it, it keeps every item inside. That makes it handy for moving large amounts of gear or building storage systems you can pick up and carry.
You open it with a right-click. You can also dye a shulker box any of the 16 colours by combining it with dye, which helps keep storage organised. Shulker boxes do not stack, even when empty.
How to get the Shulker Box
You can only get a shulker box by crafting it. The recipe takes one chest and two shulker shells, with one shell above the chest and one below it. Shulker shells drop from shulkers, the blocky mobs found around end cities, so you need to reach the End before you can make one. They are not found in chests or sold by villagers.
