About Slime Block
The Slime Block is a full block made from slimeballs. It is best known for being bouncy: most mobs and players that land on top bounce back up, and a non-sneaking player also avoids fall damage. Holding sneak while landing stops the bounce, which is handy when you want to step onto one without being launched.
Slime blocks are also sticky in a redstone sense. When a piston pushes or pulls one, nearby movable blocks touching it move along too. That makes them a key part of flying machines and other piston contraptions.
How to get Slime Block
You get Slime Blocks by crafting. Fill the whole 3x3 crafting grid with slimeballs to make one block. Slimeballs drop from slimes, which spawn in swamps and in certain underground slime chunks, so hunting slimes is the main supply. You can also craft a Slime Block back into nine slimeballs.
