About the Smithing Table
The Smithing Table is a workstation block used to upgrade diamond gear and customize armor. Right-click it to open a three-slot interface for a template, an item, and a material.
It has two main uses. You can upgrade diamond armor, tools, and weapons to netherite by combining the item with a netherite upgrade template and a netherite ingot. You can also apply armor trims by using a trim template and a matching material such as gold, iron, copper, or quartz.

How to get the Smithing Table
You can craft a Smithing Table from four wood planks and two iron ingots. It also generates naturally in villages, inside toolsmith houses, so you can often grab one early without crafting. When broken, it drops itself.
