About Spruce Slab
Spruce slabs are thin half-block versions of spruce planks. You can place them in the bottom or top half of a block space, and two slabs of the same type combine into a full block when stacked. They are handy for floors, roofs, paths, and any build where you want a lower profile or a smoother step.
Like other wooden blocks, spruce slabs are broken quickly with an axe and can catch fire. They can also be waterlogged, which makes them useful around pools, docks, and watery builds. They keep the same reddish-brown look as spruce planks.
How to get Spruce Slab
You can craft spruce slabs from spruce planks. Put three spruce planks in a horizontal row to get six slabs. You can also find them in some naturally generated buildings, especially taiga villages and similar structures that use spruce wood. They are not sold by villagers or dropped by mobs.
