About Tuff Slab
Tuff Slab is a decorative half-height block made from ordinary tuff. It works like other stone slabs: you can place it on the bottom or top half of a block space, and two slabs placed in the same space form a full-sized block.
It is mainly useful for building. Slabs let you create smoother floors, shallow steps, window sills, and detailed rooflines without using full blocks. Like tuff itself, the slab has a grey, slightly textured volcanic look that fits caves, ruins, and stone-heavy builds.
How to get Tuff Slab
You can craft Tuff Slabs from tuff blocks. Place three tuff in a horizontal row in the crafting grid to get six slabs. If you have a stonecutter, one tuff block can be cut into two slabs instead.
Tuff itself is found in veins underground, especially in the deeper parts of the world, but the slab version is not found naturally in chests or structures. Crafting or stonecutting is the only way to get it.
