About Blue Terracotta
Blue Terracotta is a solid decorative block made by dyeing regular terracotta. It has a matte, earthy blue tone that suits desert, mesa, and modern builds.
Like other terracotta blocks, it is not affected by gravity and needs a pickaxe to mine and collect. It has no special redstone or storage behaviour, it is simply a good-looking building block.
How to get Blue Terracotta
You can craft Blue Terracotta by combining one blue dye with eight regular terracotta blocks in a crafting grid. This recipe gives you eight blue terracotta.
Blue Terracotta also generates naturally inside desert pyramids, where it appears in the decorative floor pattern around the loot area. If you do not have blue dye yet, raiding a desert temple is a useful way to pick some up.
