About Brown Carpet
Brown Carpet is a thin decorative floor covering, one of the sixteen dyed carpet colours in Minecraft. It sits in the lower part of a block space, so it adds colour without taking up a full block. Players often use it for rugs, paths, or marking out areas inside builds.
It is made from wool, so it is flammable. You can place it on top of solid surfaces and break it quickly by hand. It does not emit light, and it cannot be powered with redstone.
How to get Brown Carpet
You craft Brown Carpet from brown wool. Place two brown wool side by side in a crafting grid to get three carpets. You can get brown wool by shearing a brown sheep, or by dyeing white wool with brown dye. Brown dye is made from cocoa beans.
Crafting is the reliable way to obtain it, so you do not need a special structure or mob drop for the carpet itself.
