About Exposed Chiseled Copper
Exposed Chiseled Copper is a decorative building block with the same engraved pattern as regular chiseled copper, but with the lighter, brownish look of the first oxidation stage. It has no light, redstone, or storage function, so players use it mainly for trim, floors, and detailed builds.
Like other copper blocks, it will continue to weather if left alone. You can wax it with honeycomb to keep the exposed look permanently, or scrape it with an axe to return it to regular chiseled copper.
How to get Exposed Chiseled Copper
You can craft it with two exposed cut copper slabs. A stonecutter can also cut it from exposed copper blocks, which is faster if you already have exposed copper on hand. It also forms naturally when a regular chiseled copper block oxidizes one stage. Some trial chambers generate chiseled copper in different weathering states, so you may find exposed pieces while exploring one.
