About Exposed Cut Copper

Exposed Cut Copper is a decorative building block and the first oxidation stage after plain Cut Copper. It keeps the same cut pattern but has a lightly weathered, green-tinted surface. It is purely visual, so it gives off no light and has no storage or redstone function.

You can use honeycomb on the block to wax it and lock in this exact look. If you would rather move it back a stage, use an axe on it to scrape it into regular Cut Copper. Left alone, it will continue to weather into Weathered Cut Copper and then Oxidized Cut Copper. It can also be crafted into stairs and slabs.

How to get Exposed Cut Copper

You can craft Exposed Cut Copper from four Exposed Copper Blocks, or use one Exposed Copper Block in a stonecutter to get four cut blocks. The other route is to place regular Cut Copper and wait for it to oxidise to the exposed stage. Once placed, mine it with a stone pickaxe or better.
