About Copper Block
The Copper Block is the solid storage block form of copper. It is mostly a building block, with that distinctive orange-brown metal look. Like other metal blocks, it can be placed, mined again with a stone pickaxe or better, and used as decoration or compact storage.
A placed Copper Block slowly oxidises in the open air. It goes from shiny copper through exposed and weathered stages, then to fully oxidised green. You can wax it with honeycomb to freeze its current look, or scrape oxidation back off with an axe.
How to get Copper Block
You can craft a Copper Block from nine copper ingots filling a crafting grid, which makes it a compact way to store copper. It can also be turned back into nine ingots in a crafting grid. Copper blocks also appear naturally in Trial Chambers, so you can mine some from those structures while exploring.
