About Copper Ingot
Copper Ingot is the refined form of copper in Minecraft. It is mainly a crafting material, not a block you place on its own. You can use it to craft copper blocks, lightning rods, spyglasses, brushes, and other copper parts. It stacks up to 64 and does not oxidise, so storing a large supply is straightforward.
How to get Copper Ingot
The main way to get copper ingots is smelting. Put raw copper, copper ore, or deepslate copper ore into a furnace or blast furnace. You can also get nine ingots back from a block of copper, which is useful if you have extra blocks. Drowned zombies sometimes drop a copper ingot when killed, so rivers and oceans can be a small extra source.
