About Golden Axe
The Golden Axe is a fast woodcutting tool. It chops logs and other wooden blocks quicker than any other axe, which makes it handy for clearing trees quickly. The tradeoff is durability: gold tools break after very little use, so this axe is better for short jobs than long building sessions.
Like other axes, it can strip bark from logs and scrape oxidation or wax from copper blocks.
How to get Golden Axe
Craft it from three gold ingots and two sticks. Arrange the ingots in the top-left, top-middle, and middle-left slots, with sticks below the top-middle ingot and in the bottom centre. You may also find one in some ruined portal chests, but crafting is the reliable route.
