About Wooden Axe
The wooden axe is the first chopping tool you can make. It breaks logs, planks, fences, and other wood blocks much faster than punching them, and right-clicking a log strips the bark to create a stripped log. It can also scrape wax or oxidation off copper blocks, just like any other axe.
A wooden axe can be used as a melee weapon in a pinch, though it hits slower than a sword. Its durability is low, so it will not last long once you start gathering a lot of wood or fighting with it.
