About the Golden Shovel
The golden shovel is a tool for digging soft blocks like dirt, sand, gravel, clay, and snow. Gold tools mine faster than any other material, so this shovel clears those blocks very quickly. The trade-off is durability: it wears out after only 32 uses, far less than iron or diamond.
