About Granite Stairs
Granite Stairs are a decorative building block made from granite. They keep the same pinkish, speckled look as regular granite, but let you build sloped paths, roofs, and more detailed structures.
Like other stairs, they can be placed upright or upside down, and nearby stairs join into corners automatically. They are purely cosmetic, so they do not interact with redstone or give off light. You can waterlog them for a partly submerged look.
How to get Granite Stairs
You can craft Granite Stairs from ordinary granite. Place six granite blocks in a stair shape in a crafting table to make four stairs.
A stonecutter is more efficient, turning one granite block into one stair. If you break a placed stair without a pickaxe, it drops nothing, so keep a pickaxe handy.
