About Gray Candle
A Gray Candle is a small, dyed light source you can place and control. Like other candles, it starts unlit. Light it with flint and steel or a fire charge to produce a soft flame.
You can put up to four candles on the same block. Each lit candle adds more light, from a dim glow with one candle to a much brighter cluster with four. The gray colour is subtle, so it suits stone, concrete, and modern builds where brighter candles would stand out too much.
How to get Gray Candle
You get a Gray Candle by crafting it. First make a plain candle from string and honeycomb, then craft that candle with gray dye. Each craft gives one gray candle. You can also dye plain candles in bulk once you have gray dye, which makes it easy to light a whole build with matching gray candles.
