About Mace

The Mace is a slow, heavy melee weapon introduced in the Tricky Trials update. It hits hard, but its real trick is that it rewards falling: the farther you fall before hitting a mob, the more damage you deal.

If you land a blow after falling far enough, you also trigger a smash attack that knocks back other nearby mobs. That makes it great for dropping onto groups of enemies from above.

How to get Mace

You can only get the Mace by crafting it. You need one Heavy Core, found in ominous vaults during trial chamber raids, and one Breeze Rod dropped by the Breeze mob. The mace itself is not found in chests or sold by villagers, so crafting is the only route.
