About Magenta Bed

The Magenta Bed is a dyed bed. Like any bed, it lets you sleep through the night in the Overworld and sets your respawn point when you right-click it. The colour is purely decorative and does not change how the bed works.

A bed takes up two blocks of floor space. If you try to sleep in the Nether or the End, the bed explodes and starts a fire, so keep it in the Overworld.

How to get Magenta Bed

You can craft a Magenta Bed using three magenta wool and three wood planks. You can also take any bed you already have and dye it magenta with magenta dye. Magenta dye comes from lilac or allium flowers, so it is not hard to get once you find those. Beds in village houses can also be broken and picked up, then dyed magenta if you want this colour.
