  • This is a shapeless recipe, meaning the items can be placed in any way on the grid.
  • Lime Bed can be crafted directly in your inventory or in a crafting table.

About the Lime Bed

The Lime Bed is a coloured version of the standard bed. It works exactly like any other bed: you right-click it to sleep through the night or a thunderstorm, which sets your respawn point. The only difference is its bright lime colour, which makes it useful for decorating builds or colour-coding rooms.

You can sleep only in the Overworld. If you try to use a bed in the Nether or the End, it explodes instead, so keep that in mind before you set one down there.

How to get the Lime Bed

You can get a Lime Bed by dyeing any bed with lime dye. Place the bed and the lime dye together in a crafting grid to change its colour. To make the bed itself, you need three wool and three wooden planks. Lime dye comes from smelting a sea pickle or from combining green and white dye. Beds can also be found in village houses, but those are usually white and need to be dyed as well.
