About Orange Terracotta
Orange Terracotta is a solid, smooth building block with a warm orange colour. It is purely decorative and works well for roofs, paths, walls, and pixel art. The clean, flat texture pairs nicely with other terracotta colours and with concrete.
The block is not affected by gravity and needs a pickaxe to mine. If you smelt it again, it becomes Orange Glazed Terracotta, which has a patterned face instead of a plain one.
How to get Orange Terracotta
You can craft Orange Terracotta by surrounding one orange dye with eight regular terracotta blocks. This gives eight orange terracotta. Orange dye comes from orange tulips or from combining red and yellow dye.
If you do not want to craft it, you can also find orange terracotta naturally in badlands biomes, where it generates in coloured bands. Mine it with a pickaxe to collect it.
