About Polished Diorite
Polished Diorite is a clean, pale building block with a smooth stone texture and subtle flecks of darker and lighter minerals. It is purely decorative, so it works well for floors, walls, paths, and other details where you want a bright, tidy surface.
It behaves like normal stone. You can place it in any direction, and it does not give off light or react to redstone. With a stonecutter, you can also turn it into polished diorite slabs, stairs, and walls.
How to get Polished Diorite
You can get Polished Diorite by crafting it from four Diorite blocks in a 2x2 square, which gives you four polished blocks. If you have a stonecutter, the process is even simpler: one Diorite block becomes one Polished Diorite block.
Diorite itself is common in underground stone layers, so you can mine plenty of it while exploring caves or digging down. Once you have diorite, polishing it is quick and cheap.
