About Sandstone Slab
Sandstone Slab is a half-height building block with the same sandy texture as regular sandstone. It is useful for building smooth paths, shallow roofs, window ledges, and small details where a full block would look too heavy.
Because it is a slab, you can place it in the top or bottom half of a block space. Two sandstone slabs can also occupy the same block to look like a full sandstone block. The slab is purely decorative and does not respond to redstone.
How to get Sandstone Slab
You can craft Sandstone Slabs by placing three sandstone in a row in a crafting table, which gives six slabs. You can also use a stonecutter, where one sandstone produces two slabs. Sandstone itself is obtained by mining sandstone in deserts or crafting it from four sand.
