About the Trapped Chest
The Trapped Chest is a storage block that looks nearly identical to a normal chest, with a faint red tint around the latch. Right-click it to open the same 27-slot storage. The key difference is redstone: while a player has the chest open, it outputs a redstone signal, and the signal grows stronger with more viewers.
Two trapped chests placed side by side form a double trapped chest. They do not combine with regular chests.
How to get the Trapped Chest
Craft one by combining a chest with a tripwire hook in a crafting grid. The recipe is shapeless and gives one trapped chest. They can also be found in some woodland mansion rooms, but crafting is the reliable route.
