About Waxed Copper Trapdoor
The Waxed Copper Trapdoor is a Copper Trapdoor sealed with honeycomb so it never oxidises. It behaves like other metal trapdoors: redstone opens and closes it, and it flips up out of the way when powered. Because it is waxed, it keeps its original orange-brown colour instead of slowly turning green over time.
It is useful for redstone-controlled entrances, floors, or clean builds where you want the look of copper without the weathering.
How to get Waxed Copper Trapdoor
You get a Waxed Copper Trapdoor by waxing a regular Copper Trapdoor. You can apply honeycomb to a placed trapdoor, or combine a Copper Trapdoor with honeycomb in the crafting grid. The Copper Trapdoor itself is crafted from copper ingots, so you need to mine and smelt copper first. Waxed Copper Trapdoors are not found naturally in chests or sold by villagers.
