About Waxed Weathered Copper Trapdoor

Waxed Weathered Copper Trapdoor is a trapdoor locked at the weathered stage of copper aging. It has a green patina, but it will never oxidize further because it is waxed.

It works like any other trapdoor. You can place it in the top or bottom half of a block, open it by hand, and toggle it with a redstone pulse. That makes it useful for doors, gates, mob-proofing, or just as a decorative copper panel.

How to get Waxed Weathered Copper Trapdoor

You cannot craft it directly from ingots. First, craft a regular copper trapdoor from copper ingots, then place it and wait for it to weather to the weathered stage. Once it is weathered, wax it by using honeycomb on the block, or combine the weathered trapdoor with honeycomb in a crafting grid.

The aging step is the main route, since a trapdoor must reach the weathered stage before you can lock it in with wax.
