About Gold Nugget
A Gold Nugget is the smallest useful form of gold. It is mostly a crafting ingredient rather than something you use on its own. Nine nuggets make a gold ingot, and a gold ingot can be split back into nine nuggets. Eight nuggets around a carrot make a golden carrot, and eight around a melon slice make a glistering melon slice. Both are handy for brewing and high-saturation food.
How to get Gold Nugget
You can get gold nuggets in a few ways. The simplest is crafting: place one gold ingot anywhere in a crafting grid to get nine nuggets. You can also smelt gold tools, weapons, or armor in a furnace to recover one nugget per item. In the Nether, zombified piglins drop gold nuggets, and some loot chests in ruined portals and bastion remnants contain them too.
