About Hopper
A hopper is a block that moves items automatically. It has five inventory slots of its own, but its main job is to grab loose items and push them into nearby containers.
Place it against a chest, furnace, barrel, or similar block, and the hopper's pipe points into that container. It pulls loose items from above and pushes its contents into whatever it faces. A redstone signal locks the hopper, stopping all transfers while it is powered.
How to get Hopper
You get a hopper by crafting it. The recipe uses one chest in the center and five iron ingots arranged around it: top left, top right, middle left, middle right, and bottom center. You can also collect a few hoppers already placed in ancient city redstone circuits, but crafting is the practical route.
