About the Minecart
The Minecart is a small rail vehicle that carries you, mobs, or a load of nothing around a track. You can place it on any kind of rail, interact with it to climb aboard, and nudge it to start moving. You can also push it along flat ground by walking into it.
A plain Minecart has no engine. It relies on gravity on slopes, powered rails, or a good shove to keep moving. It is also the base for other carts: combine one with a chest, hopper, furnace, or TNT to create the matching Minecart type.
How to get the Minecart
The usual way to get a Minecart is by crafting one. Arrange five iron ingots in a U shape at a crafting table, with three along the bottom row and one in each upper-side slot. You can also find plain Minecarts in abandoned mineshaft chests, and any Minecart already placed in the world can be picked up again by attacking it.
