About Red Candle
Red Candle is the red-dyed version of a candle, a small decorative light block. You can place up to four candles in the same block space. Each lit candle adds light level 3, so four red candles together reach light level 12.
Light one with flint and steel, a fire charge, or a flaming arrow. Put it out with water or by right-clicking it with an empty hand. Candles are mostly decorative, but their controllable light makes them handy for mood lighting and small redstone builds.
How to get Red Candle
You only get Red Candles by crafting. Combine one regular candle with one red dye in a crafting grid. A regular candle is made from one string and one honeycomb. Red dye comes from poppies, red tulips, rose bushes, or beetroot. Red Candles are not found in chests or sold by villagers, so you will need to craft every one you place.
