- Waxed Copper Block can be crafted directly in your inventory or in a crafting table.
About Waxed Copper Block
The Waxed Copper Block is a decorative building block that keeps copper from ageing. A normal copper block slowly changes colour over time, but waxing locks it at whatever look it has when you apply the honeycomb. It is useful when you want a copper roof, wall, or floor to stay exactly the same.
Key facts:
- Does not oxidise further.
- Keeps the colour of the copper block you waxed, from clean orange to green.
- Mainly a building block, not something you interact with beyond placing or breaking it.
How to get Waxed Copper Block
You can only get it by waxing copper. Place a copper block and right-click it with honeycomb, or combine a copper block and honeycomb in a crafting table. Each block costs one honeycomb. To get a specific shade, let the copper block oxidise to the level you want first, then wax it. It is not found in chests or sold by villagers.
